Ping Pong 2009-10

Collaboration With Margot Barolo & Eva Jakovits

Table-Wear Objects

On going project with two other practitioners, Margot

Baloro (Sweden) the Ceramics designer, and Eva

Jakovits (Estonia), the Textile artist. We have created

an inter- disciplinary game: each of us made two

objects of table-wear, gave it to the two others who

then manipulated them in anyway they saw fit,

without any interference from the person who

originally made them. We were curious to see what

comes up from combining the different materials,

techniques and working methods. We called this

“Ping-Pong”.
